Supplying solar power to Takpang village

The volunteer program "Lighting up Takpang village in 2025" was organized by the Trade Union and Youth Union of the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) in coordination with Da Nang Power Company (Da Nang PC) on 20 September 2025, in Tra Tap commune, Da Nang city.

In the program, EVNCPC and Da Nang PC installed and presented 10 solar bulbs to light up the road leading to the village and 15 solar bulbs for the inter-village route. In addition, the library bookcase was donated to the youth of Tra Tap commune, opening more doors of knowledge for students in the highlands.
On this occasion, the Trade Union and Youth Union of EVNCPC also coordinated to plant 1,500 trees, including blackberry, cassia, and purple-flowered lagerstroemia, within the framework of the program "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho", contributing to greening the bare land, protecting the environment, and spreading awareness of preserving green for future generations.
To share the difficulties faced by ethnic minority children, Da Nang PC presented 20 gifts to outstanding students from Takpang village.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Binh Nam - Standing Deputy Secretary of EVNCPC Party Committee emphasized: "Along with the task of ensuring safe and continuous electricity supply to serve socio-economic development, EVNCPC always attaches importance to social security work, accompanying localities on the journey to build a better life for the people".
The program “Lighting up Takpang Village” not only contributes to improving the living and studying life of the people in the highlands but also demonstrates the social responsibility and solidarity of the power industry towards the community. The specific and practical work in Takpang will continue to be the driving force for the EVNCPC Youth Union to expand social security activities, aiming at sustainable development, so that the light of civilization can spread to many other remote villages in the Central Highlands.
