Nguyen Van Hoang, Chairman of the Grassroots Trade Union of An Giang PC, and Vo Thanh Loc, Deputy Director of An Giang PC, along with leaders of departments and the High-Voltage Grid Enterprise, attended the gift-giving ceremony.

Union member Bui Quang Trung is a worker of the Long Xuyen Mobile Operation Team under the High-Voltage Grid Enterprise of An Giang PC. Mr. Trung has 32 years of service in the power sector and is suffering from necrosis of the left mandible, aftereffects of cerebral infarction, and type 2 diabetes, among other conditions.

Mr. Trung is the main breadwinner in the family; his wife is a housewife. He has three children: one has graduated from university but has not yet secured stable employment, while the other two are in grade 7 and grade 1. The family’s main source of income is Mr. Trung’s salary, so their situation is very difficult.

In the spirit of solidarity and mutual support, the Grassroots Trade Union of An Giang PC mobilized the company’s staff and employees to contribute more than VND 208.4 million in support of union member Bui Quang Trung and his family, helping them overcome their difficulties.
