The devastating Typhoon BUALOI has caused extremely serious consequences and heavy damage. In the spirit of the nation’s tradition of “mutual assistance and solidarity,” Vietnam Electricity has decided to contribute VND 3 billion to join hands with local authorities and people in the affected provinces and cities to overcome the consequences of the typhoon, restore infrastructure, and help stabilize people’s lives. This donation also reflects the solidarity and compassion of tens of thousands of EVN officers and employees who wish to share difficulties with communities impacted by the disaster.

Typhoon No. 10 (BUALOI) has also caused significant disruptions and adverse impacts on power generation, transmission, and power supply to customers. Many transformers, power poles, and meter boxes on the medium- and low-voltage grids were damaged, resulting in service interruptions for more than 4.12 million power customers across 16 provinces and cities in the North and Central regions. As of the afternoon of October 3, 2025, EVN had restored power supply to over 3.87 million out of the 4.12 million affected customers, reaching nearly 94% restoration progress.
