This line is synchronously built with the 220kV Long Phu - Soc Trang line to upload power from the Long Phu 1 Power Plant into the national power grid, enhancing the capacity of power supply for the load of Soc Trang, Hau Giang and Can Tho City.
The line passes through Long Phu and Ke Sach districts (Soc Trang province), Chau Thanh district (Hau Giang province) and Cai Rang, Phong Dien and O Mon districts (Can Tho city).
The project is invested at/with a total of over VND 1,287 billion by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) and managed by SPMB representing on behalf of EVNNPT.
Upon completion, the project will be handed over to Power Transmission Company 4 for operation and management.
