The total investment of the project is over VND 77 billion, National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) is assigned to be the project investor, CPMB on behalf of EVNNPT to manage the project, Power Transmission Company 2 takes over the work for operation and management.
The transformer has been installed with one 220kV and 110kV general bay, two 110kV line bays; and additionally built 2 houses holding the protection and control cabinets and the other synchronized devices. The construction has been implemented inside the area of existing Quang Ngai 220kV substation at the Duc Lan commune, Mo Duc district, Quang Ngai province.
Energizing and putting the AT1 transformer into operation at Quang Ngai 220kV substation will meet the load development demand in Quang Ngai province and nearby areas; improve the capacity of power supply by N-1 criteria; improve power quality, the stable and reliable power supply; minimize the power loss of grid in the area.
