Tan Chi 110kV transmission line and substation project have a total investment cost of more than VND 70 billion, including the construction of a dual-circuit 110kV transmission line with a length of 137m; 01 110/35/22kV substation with a capacity of 2 x 63MVA (01 transformer being installed in phase 1); installing equipment for 110kV, 35kV, 22kV bays.

The project is equipped with a controland instrumentation system and a SCADA system, which will be connected to the SCADA system of the Northern Load Dispatch Center and the SCADA/DMS system of the Northern Power Corporation in the future.

The control system of Tan Chi 110kV substation is designed based on unmanned substation standards; equipped with an automatic fire protection system, etc.

It is expected that the project will be tested and put into operation in the fourth quarter of 2021.

After coming into operation, the project will contribute to improving the reliability of power supply, meeting the demand for power supply for Tan Chi industrial cluster and other loads in Tien Du district, Bac Ninh province. The project will also alleviate loads for Vo Cuong, Phu Chan and Thuan Thanh 110kV substations.
