Chau Thanh 220kV substation (Hau Giang)
The project is built in Thanh Hoa commune, Phung Hiep district, Hau Giang province, invested by National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), managed by SPMB, and operated by Power Transmission Company 4.
The project includes the scale of installation of 2 220kV/125MVA transformers (total capacity of 250MVA), 7 220kV bays, and 8 110kV bays. Erection is performed for poles, pulling of wires from the gate poles of Chau Thanh 220kV transformer and connection to the O Mon - Soc Trang 220kV transmission line.
The completion of the project helps to ensure power supply for Phung Hiep and Chau Thanh A districts in particular and Hau Giang province and Can Tho city in general, contributing to meeting the needs of socio-economic development of Hau Giang province and surrounding areas.
The completion of the project helps to reduce the load on 220/110kV transformers at existing 220kV substations in the area such as Soc Trang substation, O Mon substation, Can Tho substation, etc.,), contributing to ensuring the N-1 criterion, improving the reliability and safety of power supply for the regional power grid.
