Completing construction and development of Customer Management Information System (CMIS) 4.0

On December 22, in Hanoi, Vietnam Electricity summarized the work of building and developing Customer Management Information System (CMIS) 4.0.

This is one of the first shared software developed by EVN's information technology (IT) team and is the "backbone" software that meets EVN's business and customer service profession.

CMIS 4.0 was built with the development orientation: Support units in operating and deploying systems; Continue to improve and supplement new professions that arise in business and customer service; Upgrade technology to keep up with innovation trends and ensure information security; Build a shared application ecosystem in business and customer service, serving the direction and management of leaders of the Group's and units.

At the summary program, EVN Vice President Vo Quang Lam and representatives of power corporations highly appreciated EVNICT's efforts in deploying and upgrading CMIS 4.0 in particular and building the CMIS system in general over the past nearly 20 years.

EVNICT's efforts in implementing CMIS have made an important contribution to improving the quality of EVN's customer service, recognized and highly appreciated by customers and society. CMIS supports EVN in developing electricity services towards electronic transactions, and non-cash payments, establishing systems to ensure the provision of level 4 electricity services, national public services, digitizing all transactions with customers, and so on.

After nearly 20 years of development, CMIS has been recognized with many awards, including two Sao Khue Awards by the Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association (VINASA), which is Sao Khue 2006 (CMIS version 1.0), Sao Khue 2011 (CMIS version 2.0). Subsystems in CMIS also won Sao Khue Awards such as the Electronic Invoice Management System (2014 award); Software solution for providing electricity services via EVN electronic interface (2020 award); The system integrating population database, National Public Service portal, and connecting digital platforms of provinces/cities (EVNConnect) (2023 award) and many other awards by ministries/agencies.
