Completing the renovation of Pha Lai 220kV transmission line – branching to Hai Duong Thermal Power Station

At 2:20 a.m. on May 2, in Chi Linh city, Hai Duong province, the Northern Power Project Management Board (NPMB) coordinated with related units to organize the acceptance and energization of the project of rehabilitating the Pha Lai 220kV line – branching to Hai Duong Thermal Power Station (section from Pha Lai Thermal Power Plant to the connection point to branch to Hai Duong Thermal Power Plant).

his project is a special grade energy project, group B, with a total investment of nearly VND 86 billion. National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) – the investor assigns NPMB to manage and implement the project. Power Transmission Company 1 is selected to receive and manage the operation the system after the energization is completed.

The project is designed at a scale of replacing all existing conductors with superheated wires with higher load-carrying capacity; replacement of insulation, accessories; re-tension of the lightning wire of bay 273A80 – 283A8.25; rehabilitating the foundation and raising the height of columns for positions 19 and 25, bay 273A80 – 283A8.25.

This project is a key one of the National Power Transmission Corporation to release the capacity of Hai Duong Thermal Power Plant when it comes into operation, meeting the demand for load growth for economic and social development of Hai Duong province and ensure stability for the power transmission system.
