The focus is on ensuring a safe, continuous, and stable power transmission for socio-economic development

Promoting the achievements gained in the past year, EVNNPT is mobilizing all resources, while organizing emulation movements to strive to successfully complete the plan assigned by EVN and the 5-year production and business, investment, and development plan for the 2021 - 2025 period of the Corporation. The focus is on ensuring a safe, continuous, and stable power transmission for the socio-economic development of the country and people's lives; completing the targets and tasks of the production and business - finance - construction investment plan and improving its efficiency; promoting the application of scientific and technological advances of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in production and business activities.

In 2025, EVNNPT plans to commence 34 projects; and complete and energize 74 projects. The Corporation commits to compete with EVN to accelerate the energization progress of the projects: Nghia Lo Substation and Nghia Lo-Viet Tri 220kV line; Vinh Yen 500kV Substation and connection line; and Vung Ang 220kV Substation and connection line.

For projects planned to commence and energize in 2025, EVNNPT focuses on ensuring the projects’ progress on improving the capacity of the transmission grid, ensuring power supply for the North; releasing capacity of Nhon Trach 3 and 4 power plants; releasing renewable energy capacity; and striving to complete additional plans beyond those assigned by EVN.

In parallel with the construction investment work, the National Power Transmission Corporation strictly grasps and develops an action program and plan to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation in conjunction with promoting the implementation of tasks in the digital transformation plan for 2025 and the 2022 - 2025 period. EVNNPT gradually digitizes the operational and technical management of substations and lines; at the same time, it constantly raises awareness among employees about anti-corruption, practicing thrift, and fighting waste.

From the experience and success in Party building and implementing political tasks, especially promoting and spreading the "spirit of circuit 3" in all aspects of operation, EVNNPT is ready with a proactive mindset, competing to strive to complete and surpass the targets and tasks set out as well as the annual plan assigned by EVN.

General Director of Power Generation Corporation 3 - Mr. Le Van Danh:

Ensuring fuel and readiness of generator units according to the needs of the system

In 2024, EVNGENCO3 had remarkable power production results with 26.4 billion kWh, reaching 114% of the plan assigned by EVN. Entering 2025, EVNGENCO3 was assigned an electricity output target of 26.263 billion kWh, of which coal was 15.1 billion kWh; DO oil was 1.7 billion kWh; gas was 7.2 billion kWh, and hydropower was 2.3 billion kWh.

To complete the above plan, the EVNGENCO3 leadership met to review the situation, discuss, and propose a series of specific solutions. First, regarding the coal fuel contract, Mong Duong Thermal Power Company needs 3.5 million tons and Vinh Tan 2 Thermal Power Company needs 4.2 million tons, the Corporation has had supply contracts as well as plans to ensure coal fuel.

Regarding gas fuel, in addition to 1 billion cubic meters of domestic gas supplied by PVGas, EVNGENCO3, together with EVN and PVGas, has a 3-party contract to purchase LNG gas to serve production; at the same time, an additional reserve package was bid for timely supplementation if DO oil is insufficient to meet the demand. EVNGENCO 3 has also urgently completed all repair works of Phu My Thermal Power Company by the end of 2024 and the last unit on January 10, 2015, ensuring effective operation of supply sources.

The Corporation continues to implement the project to improve reliability and reduce consumption such as replacing furnace tubes with anti-abrasion mesh during the Lunar New Year; proactively assigning IBS to implement and be ready to replace in processing and restoring fan equipment, steam rings, ring inserts, etc. The corporation is confident in ensuring sufficient fuel and is ready to serve to meet the production plan in 2025.

General Director of Hanoi Power Corporation - Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan:

Ensuring power supply in the peak months of the dry season in 2025

Immediately after the peak summer period on August 29, 2024, Hanoi Power Corporation (EVNHANOI) held a meeting to evaluate management and operation work and clarify existing limitations to prepare for the 2025 plan.

The Corporation has developed and submitted to the Hanoi People's Committee for approval the power supply plan for 2025, along with focusing on the projects of construction investment, major repairs, and overcoming existing problems on the 110kV, medium, and low-voltage grids.

From the previous successes in mobilizing customers to save electricity, the Corporation continues to implement the contents according to Directive 20 of the Prime Minister, coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade to carry out activities on propaganda and dissemination of legal regulations related to economic and efficient use of energy and mobilize customers to use smart devices, striving to save at least 2.2% of total electricity consumption and 30% of total lighting electricity.

The two particularly important solutions in ensuring power supply in the capital that EVNHANOI has promoted are load shifting and electricity saving. In addition to the 2024 list, the Corporation continues to direct its affiliated units to update the list of potential customers in production and business to sign a commitment to shift the load during peak hours no later than March 20, 2025. In addition, the corporation also continues to deploy solutions to mobilize customers' diesel engines in cases of EVN's direction requires mobilizing additional supporting sources.

For large enterprises such as Bac Thang Long-Noi Bai Industrial Cluster, An Khanh Steel Company Limited... which have proactively installed self-produced and self-consumed solar power systems to contribute to reducing electricity consumption during peak hours, the corporation, together with the Department of Industry and Trade, will work with these enterprises to conduct energy audits, improve technology, production lines, and commercial and non-commercial DR to reduce electricity consumption.

EVNHANOI is determined to successfully complete the technical and economic tasks and targets assigned by EVN by specifying solutions to ensure power supply in the city.
