Leader of GENCO 3 announced the decision of appointing the board of directors of Thai Binh thermopower company
The installed capacity of Thai Binh thermopower plant is 600 MW, with two 300 MW units, located at My Loc Commune, Thai Thuy District with the total investment of more than 26,500 billion VND. By July 2017, the project was almost finished after more than 3 years of construction.
To operate and manage the plant, GENCO3 - a member of Viet Nam Electricity - announced the decision of establishing Thai Binh Thermopower company using human resources from the Board of Management of Thai Binh Thermopower project.
The mission of the company is to operate the plant reliably and efficiently to meet the demand of the system while optimizing the cost and improving the performance of the production and business.
The company needs to prepare sufficient facilities in terms of doing business in power trade to join the power market in accordance with the road map; continue conducting training high quality human resource, to study and develop and cooperate internationally regarding plant operation; The company must also frequently update and apply advanced science and technology into production and business, concentrating on completing the organizational system, human resource, rules and regulations to ensure safe operation; strictly follow all environmental protection procedures.
Mr. Duong Duc Thuy, who was the Director of the Board of Management of Thai Binh Thermopower Project, was assigned to become the Director of Thai Binh Thermopower company.
