Reporting at the meeting, the EVN Planning Department said that in the first 6 months of the year, EVN strictly implemented the instructions of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Committee for Management of State Capital at Enterprises, and Ministries and ministries, branches in ensuring power supply in the dry season months of 2024 and the whole year of 2024.
Up to now, EVN has ensured a safe and stable power supply in the context of very high power demand growth due to continued economic recovery and intense heat in all three regions during the peak months of the dry season. Of which, the whole system's produced and imported power output reached 151.73 billion kWh, an increase of 12.41% over the same period in 2023; commercial power reached 134.7 billion kWh, an increase of 13.44% over the same period in 2023.
In business and customer service, EVN continues to promote IT applications and digital transformation to improve service quality and diversify power services to meet the increasing demands of customers and society and achieve many positive results.
Specifically, in the first 6 months of the year, the medium voltage grid power supply time decreased to 2.4 days; low-voltage grid power supply time for residential customers was 2.51 days, for non-residential customers was 2.59 days; 100% of power services were supplied online at level 4 at the National Public Service Portal; the rate of customers using non-cash payments reached over 95%; Power supply reliability continues to improve, in which the average power outage time per customer (SAIDI index) was 99.85 minutes, equal to 32.85% of the year plan and down 6.0% compared to the same period in 2023; the power loss rate was at 5.82%, 0.23% lower than the 2024 plan, etc.

In construction investment, the value of investment capital disbursement in the first 6 months of 2024 of the entire EVN was estimated to reach VND 40,502 billion, equal to 39.7% of the yearly plan and an increase of 35.9% over the same period in 2023. EVN has focused on implementing many key power source and grid projects on schedule.
In particular, the 500kV circuit 3 transmission line project from Quang Trach to Pho Noi has energized 2 component projects: Thanh Hoa 500kV substation, Nam Dinh 1 Thermal Power Plant - Thanh Hoa 500kV transmission line and two 500kV bay expansion items at Pho Noi 500kV substations and Quang Trach Thermal Power Plant 500kV distribution yard. Currently, EVN/EVNNPT and its units are making efforts and mobilizing all forces to construct the remaining volume and complete technical testing and acceptance procedures with the target of striving to complete the project on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day September 2 under the direction of the Prime Minister.
EVN also reported to the Deputy Minister on the organization and arrangement of business innovation, deploying the plan to implement Power Master Plan VIII, developing EVN's smart power grid, etc.
