The project includes a 110kV substation and connection line. In the first phase, the substation will be constructed with one transformer with a total capacity of 40MVA. The line consists of 2 circuits with a total length of 3.8km. The first point is transitionally connected from towers 9 - 10 of the existing Binh Son - Go Dau 110kV transmission line to the tower at the substation gate.

Long Thanh Airport 110kV Substation upon operation will not only ensure power supply to Long Thanh Airport but also contribute to reducing the 22kV power supply radius, reducing losses, ensuring voltage quality, and improving power supply reliability in neighboring areas, ensuring N-1 criterion in line with the policy of Vietnam Electricity (EVN) and the Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC).
