Internal encouragement
Recently, Trade Union of Vietnam Electricity has cooperated with Bach Khoa Solar Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (SolarBK) to develop a program to support staff and employees in installing their RSP projects. Accordingly, each employee in EVN who installs his (or her) RSP is entitled to enjoy a direct reduction by 25% of the investment value; or to invest in the form of "Micro-ESCO" to be amortized over three years and doubled the current fixed frame price. The program aims at in short term reaching 3,000 households installed and spreading throughout EVN as well as extending to households across the country.
The representative of EVN said that, if deployed widely, the RSP program would contribute to reducing investment pressure on the power sector, helping energy saving, ensuring national energy security and towards sustainable development; at the same time, bringing benefits to the households themselves. Programs aimed at pioneering the implementation of the Government's policy on developing renewable energy sources; promoting a large scale, high rate development of RSP, socialized capital, contributing to increasing power supply, creating many jobs for the society. At the same time, the RSP market with high quality standards will be created, bringing benefits to both customers and electrical systems.
In fact, implementing the policy on developing RSP and power saving goals, over the years, EVN has developed policies, encouraged and supported corporations/companies/affiliates to install systems in the spirit of making use of its roofs of offices, serving auxiliary needs and saving electric energy.

Customer support
In addition to promoting internal programs, EVN is boosting up its support for business customers, people who want to invest in and install new RSP systems and create conditions for SME production and business enterprises to participate in the market, contributing to creaing a transparent and sustainable market for solar power.
EVN's Deputy General Director Vo Quang Lam said that Vietnam has a great solar power potential. In the context of difficulty in developing centralized power sources, the decreasing cost of installing RSP systems, RSP has become an inevitable trend. Recognizing great benefits from this energy source for each household as well as its contribution to increasing the national power supply, EVN has developed the EVNSOLAR platform to promote large-scale, fast-speed RSP development and socialized capital, contributing to increasing power supply, creating many jobs for the RSP market with high quality standards, bringing benefits to both customers and electrical systems.
Specifically, EVN has researched and put into operation the platform. This is a fundamental economic application, a sharing economy equipped with utility tools, technologies, and a full range of regulations and policies to help connect and interact among users who are interested in RSP, creating values to all stakeholders. Customers can search for information about photovoltaic panels, converters, technology, origin, quality, price, installation providers, banking services, insurance, etc., and convenient and easy transactions on this platform.
In the coming time, EVN will continue to require its affiliated power units to create all favorable conditions to support and encourage customers to participate in RSP installation. Strengthening the linkage between customers and local reputable solar solution providers; guiding customers on conditions for checking and acceptance, signing purchase contracts, reporting readings via Zalo, monthly customer-care App, fast payment of electricity bills to customers.
