From Doosan, Mr. Park Gee Won - Chairman of Doosan Heavy Industries and Construction Group, Mr. Yun Seok Won - General Director of EPC Business Group and representatives of Mitsubishi Corporation Vietnam, Thai Binh Duong Group – members of the contractor consortium – attended the ceremony.

The signing of MoU between EVN and EPC Business Group was witnessed by Mr. Duong Quang Thanh - Chairman of EVN’s Board of Directors and Mr. Park Gee Won - Chairman of Doosan Group.
This MoU aims to facilitate Doosan's technical support, diagnostics and maintenance of Vinh Tan 4 and Vinh Tan 4 Extension Thermal Power Plants, applying the achievements of industrial revolution 4.0, improving the reliability and efficiency of the performance of these power plants. At the same time, the MoU strengthens the cooperation between EVN and Doosan Group in the future.
At the signing ceremony, EVN awarded a certificate of merit to Doosan Corporation for its excellent performance of putting Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant into operation 3 months ahead of schedule.
According to EVN’s Chairman Duong Quang Thanh, this is the first thermal project implemented by EVN that has shortened its implementation schedule by 3 months, enabling the improvement of EVN's electricity supply efficiency, in service of the socio - economic development of the southern provinces, at the same time, contributing to the national energy security.

EVN has selected the Consortium DMPP led by Doosan as the contractor for these projects. In particular, Vinh Tan 4 extension project is expected to be completed by early 2020.
