Nearly 400 standard-conforming initiatives are registered to vote at the 4th Initiative for Community Contest. As a result, the organizing committee decided to approve 22 typical initiatives that were honored in the awarding ceremony, including 02 A prizes; 04 B prizes; 06 C prizes, and 10 Consolation prizes.
As a companion to organizing this contest, Vietnam Electricity wishes to find excellent initiatives and creative and practical ideas for the community. Right after the program "Initiative for the Community" was launched, EVN encouraged collectives and individuals to create initiatives as well as employees to actively participate in the contest.
At the 4th Initiative for Community Contest, Vietnam Electricity has 04 initiatives (both belonging to Da Nang Power Company, Ltd.) to be honored, including:
The initiative "Building system for meter readings look-up and proactive abnormal power output warning" - representative of the author group: Nguyen Thao Nguyen, won the B prize. The solution provides timely warning of abnormal power output, helping customers to have a reasonable power-use plan. In addition, the solution also helps customers and power companies to early detect cases of electrical short-circuit and leakage behind the meter, avoiding increased power loss and reducing costs for customers.
The initiative "Solution for automatic monitor the process of recording and reviewing meter readings before issuing electricity bills at Da Nang Power Company, Ltd." - author: Bui Van Minh, won the C prize. The solution helps to ensure accuracy and speed in the process of record and review meter readings before issuing the invoice, improving customer care while saving costs and labor resources.
The initiative "Application of routing algorithms and remote data statistics to automatically analyze and warn customers of low-voltage" - author: Truong Minh Tu, won the Consolation prize. The solution improves operational quality; monitors grid operation conditions and prevents grid failures; improves the power supply reliability; saves energy by reducing power loss, etc.
The initiative "Building automation technology training model for 110kV substations and segmentation devices on distribution grid" - author: Nguyen Nhu Khoa Nam, won the Consolation prize. The solution contributes to improving the operational efficiency of 110kV substations; reducing power failure time when the problem occurs, and contributing to supplying safe and stable power.
Thus, through 4 times of the Initiative for Community contest, some collectives, individuals, and employees of the Power sector have awarded high prizes for their initiatives, including 02 First prizes, 02 Second prizes, 03 Third prizes, and 04 Consolation prizes.
