On 23 November 2022, in Hanoi, Mr. Duong Quang Thanh - Chairman of the Member Board of Vietnam Electricity (EVN), and Mr. Tran Dinh Nhan - President and CEO of EVN worked with EVNHANOI on the implementation of the task in the past 10 months and the estimated implementation of EVNHANOI’s the 2022 plan
One of the outstanding information according to the report of EVNHANOI, as of November 2022, EVNHANOI has completed 35/41 digital transformation detailed tasks in the 2021-2022 period, including 29 tasks assigned by EVN and EVNHANOI registered 6 detailed tasks. By 2022, EVNHANOI is expected to complete 38/41 tasks (including 31 tasks assigned by EVN and 7 tasks registered by EVNHANOI).
EVNHANOI is also the first state-owned corporation/group to participate in the assessment of digital maturity under the supervision of the Ministry of Information and Communications, based on 139 criteria and 6 key strategies.
On 13 October 2022, EVNHANOI held a conference to report the results of the basic assessment of becoming a digital enterprise. After two years of focusing on implementing the tasks assigned by EVN and some digital transformation problems in line with the production and business model at EVNHANOI, the key processes at EVNHANOI have been digitized. Application and software systems continue to be optimized and integrated to bring efficiency to end users, meeting the basic criteria of digital services.
Assessing the level of digital maturity helps EVNHANOI to be convenient in the process of adjusting goals, or adjusting ways in the implementation process, building digital transformation programs to match the orientation or changes in business strategy, production, and operation management.

Reported at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Danh Duyen - General Director of EVNHANOI added that, in the past 10 months, EVNHANOI has made great efforts to carry out the assigned tasks. Commercial electricity output in 10 months reached 18.79 billion kWh, up 6.22% over the same period in 2021; estimated commercial products in 2022 is about 21.91 billion kWh, reaching 100.22% of the plan assigned by EVN (growth of 6.01% over the same period in 2021). This is a high growth rate when Hanoi is gradually recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Some other targets are estimated to be achieved in 2022 such as power loss of 3.55%, achieving the plan assigned by EVN; 100% fulfillment of customer service targets; fulfill the power supply reliability targets at a better rate than planned. Besides, it is expected that from now until the end of the year, EVNHANOI will energize 7 projects/work items of the 110kV power grid.
Some results of EVNHANOI in business and customer service in the first 10 months of 2022:
- Paying electricity bills without cash: reaching 99.9%
- Percentage of customers installing electronic meters with remote data measurement: 100%;
- Rate of electricity service requests made by the electronic method: reached 98.81%, increased by 1.78% over the same period;
- Power supply reliability: MAIFI: 1.46 times; SAIDI: 80.15 minutes; SAIFI: 0.85 times.
