Delegates performing nameplate-affixing ceremony for Bim Son - Nga Son 110kV transmission line and Nga Son 110kV substation.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Mai Xuan Liem - Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa province said that Thanh Hoa is in the group with rapid economic growth of the whole country and is the leading province in the North Central region. with the 8th largest economy in the country. The rapid socio-economic development has led to increasing power demand, especially in industrial zones in Nghi Son Economic Zone and Bim Son Industrial Park. Commercial power output in 2022 is expected to reach over 7 billion kWh, ranking third in the North.
Ms. Do Nguyet Anh - General Director of EVNNPC said that to promptly meet the power demand of industrial parks and people throughout Thanh Hoa province, over the years Vietnam Electricity and Northern Power Corporation have maximized leverage resources to invest in 110 - 220kV power grid projects and substations and medium and low-voltage power grids. Particularly in the period of 2019-2023, EVNNPC has been implementing 346 110kV and medium and low-voltage projects, with a total investment capital of VND 8,242 billion.
Although these projects are deployed in the context of many difficulties in site clearance work, and high material prices, with the synchronous participation of ministries, branches, and localities, Bim Son - Nga Son 110kV transmission line and Nga Son 110kV substation was completed after 5 months of construction, ensuring on schedule and quality.
The completion and putting into use of Bim Son - Nga Son 110kV transmission line and Nga Son 110kV substation is expected to improve the power quality and increase the power supply reliability for the area of Bim Son town, Nga Son, Ha Trung, Hau Loc districts, and surrounding areas, helping existing businesses in the area improve their production efficiency.
In particular, the project also makes an important contribution to attracting investment in industrial clusters that are forming and developing in the areas of Nga Son district, Bim Son town, Ha Trung and Hau Loc districts; thereby creating conditions for local authorities to create jobs for thousands of local workers, promoting socio-economic development of the districts and towns in particular and Thanh Hoa province in general.

Bim Son - Nga Son 110kV transmission line and Nga Son 110kV substation have a scale of:
- Construction of more than 18km of dual-circuit 110kV transmission line (AC300 conductor).
- Building 110kV substation with the capacity of 02 x 40MVA (installing 01 transformer in the immediate future).
- New construction and renovation of more than 40km of medium-voltage lines and 74 low-voltage substations with a total capacity of 18,050kVA.
- Commencement: May 30, 2022
- Completion: November 26, 2022.
