EVN leaders inspect construction progress and encourage workers on construction throughout Tet holiday at construction site of circuit-3 500kV transmission line project

On February 11 (the 2nd day of the Giap Thin Lunar New Year), the Chairman of EVN Board of Directors Dang Hoang An, and a working group of leaders of EVN and the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) inspected the construction progress and encouraged workers constructed through Tet holiday at the construction site of Quang Trach-Quynh Luu 500kV transmission line project passing through Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces (belonging to the circuit-3 500kV transmission line to the North).

Also participating in the working group were Member of EVN Board of Directors Nguyen Duc Cuong, Chairman of EVNNPT Board of Directors Nguyen Tuan Tung, EVNNPT Vice President Truong Huu Thanh, and EVNNPT Vice President Vu Tran Nguyen.

The Quang Trach-Quynh Luu 500kV transmission line project is one of four component projects of the circuit-3 500kV transmission line from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen).

The length of Quang Trach-Quynh Luu transmission line is about 225.8km, including 2 circuits, with a total investment of over VND 9,820 billion, passing through 3 provinces of Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, and Nghe An.

The project commenced on January 18, 2024, and is currently implementing road construction and foundation excavation and casting synchronously at 111/463 locations. The site clearance work has so far handed over 348/463 locations, and site clearance is underway for the right-of-way.

EVNNPT and its project management boards have built a detailed schedule to serve as a basis for daily management and urge of the contractors’ construction progress on the construction site. In particular, with the spirit of the Prime Minister's direction to work 3 shifts, 4 crews, through holidays and Tet, the investor and construction contractors have carried out construction through the Giap Thin Lunar New Year.

Chairman of EVN's Board of Directors Dang Hoang An also proposed EVNNPT; project management boards in the North and Central regions; and the executive committees and front-line committees continue to coordinate closely and urge contractors to carry out construction effectively during the Tet holiday.

EVN leaders also proposed contractors mobilize maximum force to deploy the project, make construction efforts, ensure progress, and strive to energize the project in June 2024.
