Specifically, the Group supported some localities in building schools; medical equipment for medical examination and treatment for people in remote areas; equipped, repaired and upgraded the solar power system at the island points of Truong Sa island district.
EVN jointly participated and supported localities such as Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Tri, Ha Giang and Lai Chau, etc., to remedy the consequences of storms and floods; contributing to help the people release their anxiety and overcome the losses caused by natural disasters.
The Group granted gratitude houses to families under preferential treatment policies; took care 124 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; supported families under preferential treatment policies, people with meritorious services for the revolution; coordinated with Vietnam Television and the Ministry of Health in implementing and sponsoring the “Vietnamese Beliefs” charity program on eye surgery for children in many localities, etc.
Particularly, in the Customer Gratitude Month organized in December 2018, the Group’s units repaired and installed power facilities for more than 16,000 poor households and families under preferential treatment policies nationwide free of charge; installed rooftop solar power for more than 100 schools and some families under preferential treatment policies, etc.
