The meeting was chaired by EVN's President and CEO Tran Dinh Nhan, together with leaders of EVN's specialized departments, Director of National Load Dispatch Center and Director of Power Trading Company.
For Trung Nam Group, the participants included Deputy General Directors: Le Nhu Phac An, Hoang Van Hop, Do Van Kien.

Discussing with Trung Nam Group, Mr. Tran Dinh Nhan - EVN's President and CEO affirmed that EVN is always seeking market and goodwill in solving problems of power source investors in general and Trung Nam Group in particular. EVN's leaders also emphasized that as a state-owned enterprise, in the course of operation, EVN always complies with the regulations of state management agencies, in the spirit of respecting the law.
With the desire to find a mechanism to solve problems for the portion of 172MW capacity outside 2,000MW, not having electricity price and power purchase agreement of Trung Nam Solar Power Plant in Ninh Thuan province, EVN requested Trung Nam Group to consider and propose it to the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) for participating in the competitive electricity market so as to mobilize the project and bring efficiency to businesses.
Previously, EVN also proposed this Ministry soon bring renewable energy power plants in transition not having a price mechanism to participate in the electricity market. EVN is expected to closely coordinate with Trung Nam Group in the process of reporting it to the Ministry of Industry and Trade to complete the legal framework to bring the above-mentioned portion of capacity to participate in the electricity market. The participation time is chosen by Trung Nam Group, which can be 1 year or until the competent authority issues a new mechanism.
At the meeting, EVN and Trung Nam Group exchanged in the spirit of openness, listened to and acknowledged the opinions of each party. Leaders of Trung Nam Group also said that they would study and consider EVN's comments.
