Deputy General Director of EVN Vo Quang Lam and Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Huu Do discussed about cooperation in training about saving and efficient energy use at the school system.
Particularly, EVN recommended the MOET to further study for supplementing and updating educational contents on environmental protection, saving practice in general and power saving in particular in the textbooks; integrate and strengthen the implementation of extracurricular programs and activities with high interaction at schools.
EVN also proposed MOET to study for developing a national website (website/portal) to provide materials, lectures on safe, economical and efficient use of power at all schooling levels; with maximal use of images, audios, videos to lively illustrate, helping students easily remember, understand the contents.

Deputy Minister of MOET Nguyen Huu Do highly appreciated and supported the proposals made by EVN.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Huu Do said that for many years, education on energy saving and efficient use had been deployed at many levels from pre-school, primary school, high school to university. The outcome had raised awareness among and good habits for pupils, students, as well as officials, teachers and staff.
The Deputy Minister expects EVN to study for developing visual instructions to show the power use in saving and safe manner so pupils, students and teachers can implement the in-field visits. At the same time, EVN is expected to coordinate with the Ministry in developing educational programs in this field when required.
In recent years, EVN’s Power Corporations/Companies also have regularly coordinated with local schools to organize propaganda on safe and efficient use of power.
