In Dak Lak province, the number of communes and wards supplied power with the national grid is 184/184, reaching a rate of 100%. In January 2024 alone, PC Dak Lak's commercial electricity output was 187.22 million kWh, an increase of more than 27% over the same period last year. Electricity services in the province are also constantly being modernized. 100% of customers have used electricity services provided through the Internet environment, with channels such as Email/app/Zalo/Viber, and so on.
Facing the forecast that electricity demand in the province will continue to increase, PC Dak Lak has synchronously implemented construction investment and operation management solutions to ensure readiness for power supply in the dry season of 2024. Central Power Corporation allocated nearly VND 240 billion for PC Dak Lak to implement 37 construction investment projects with a scale of about 140km of medium-voltage lines, 320km of low-voltage lines, and nearly 200 substations with a total capacity of over 35,000kVA in the province.

Among these, notable ones include the Lak 110kV substation and connection project; M'Drak 110kV substation project and connection; the Project of renovating and developing medium and low-voltage power grid in the central area of districts, towns, and cities in Dak Lak province, etc. These are all important projects in improving power supply capacity, meeting electricity needs for people's livelihood, and economic and social development in the area. At this working session, the EVNCPC working group proposed that the Provincial People's Committee soon issue a decision approving the land use plan for 2024; Through this, PC Dak Lak has a basis to carry out further procedures and deploy construction works following the set schedule.

In addition, the EVNCPC working group also made a number of recommendations related to site clearance difficulties; relocation of electrical works after road expansion; and shortening procedures for licensing construction of power grid improvement projects, etc.
