EVNGENCO 1 is managing and operating power plants with a total capacity of more than 7,100 MW (including joint-stock power plants). In the first 6 months of the year, with an electricity generation output of more than 19 billion kWh, EVNGENCO 1 is the power generation corporation with the largest electricity output among EVN's GENCOs.
Dong Nai Hydropower Company and Nghi Son Thermal Power Company are two examples among EVNGENCO 1’s subsidiaries in well-performing the power generation task, having the power outputs reaching 133% and 115.3% of the assigned plans, respectively.
Dong Nai Hydropower Company’s generation output exceeds the plan by 33% in the first 6 months of the year
In the last 6 months of the year, EVNGENCO 1 shall concentrate its resources on achieving an electricity output of 17.7 billion kWh. The Corporation will synchronously apply solution groups to operate their generating units safely and stably, meeting dispatching orders of the National Load Dispatch Center. The hydropower reservoirs have been operating in compliance with the Inter-reservoir Operation Procedure, being maintained in safe conditions in the rainy season and providing enough water for electricity production.
The Corporation will also secure enough coal supplies for thermal power plant operation in the last months of 2021 and the dry season of 2022, raising coal reserves at power plants to the maximum level.
At the same time, the Corporation will implement the Project "Digital Transformation at Power Generation Corporation No. 1" with a number of key studies aimed at reducing fuel costs, optimizing performance management and monitoring production and business activities on mobile platforms, serving the operation management throughout the Corporation.
