The project was invested by EVNHANOI with an amount of over VND 111 billion, commenced on 30th July 2017, put into operation on 22nd April 2019 as planned. The substation was renovated on the campus of the old substation with about 4,100m2 and extension of 4,000m2.
The entire substation equipment is controlled by a computer system, connecting the remote monitoring and control system from the Northern Region Load Dispatch Centre and the Hanoi City Load Dispatch Centre.
In recognition of the efforts of the staff collective of the Corporation, Vietnam Electricity’s Trade Union recognized that this is a project to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union establishment and commend many collectives and individuals with prominent achievements.
This is one of the important projects to improve the quality of power supply, ensuring safety and stability for Thuong Tin district and surrounding areas.
In recent years, in Hanoi, especially Thuong Tin and Phu Xuyen districts, there are many industrial parks and industrial clusters with large-scale infrastructure, so the demand for power load is highly increasing.
