Leaders of Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee and Northern Power Corporation at Hung Ha 2 110kV Substation
Hung Ha 2 110kV Substation project is one of the key power projects of Thai Binh province, contributing to ensuring power quality and improving power supply reliability; at the same time, promoting economic development in Hung Ha district, as well as improving business, production activities, and daily life of people in the province.
In the period 2019-2024, EVNNPC has been implementing 34 110kV and 191 power projects. According to Ms. Do Nguyet Anh, the Corporation plans to invest about VND 310 billion in 2025 for Thai Binh province’s power grid to ensure that the power grid becomes increasingly stable and reliable, meeting the needs of local socio-economic development.

Grasping the potential and development trends of the locality as well as improving electricity supply stability, reliability, and electricity quality, the Northern Power Corporation has invested in Hung Ha 2 110kV substation project with a total investment cost of VND 72 billion.
Project scale: construction of 0.05km of new double-circuit 110kV overhead line, using ACSR-300 conductor, transition connection on 110kV line routed from Pho Cao 220kV substation to Hung Ha 110kV substation; construction of Hung Ha 2 110kV substation with the capacity of 02x40MVA, installation of one 40MVA-115/38.5/23kV transformer; equipped with a SCADA system... connected to the control center to ensure the substation to be put into operation in unmanned mode.

On May 31, 2024, all construction items of the project of Hung Ha 2 110kV Substation and connection lines were energized and put into operation.
The project is in accordance with Thai Binh province's power development planning. After being put into operation, Hung Ha 2 110kV Substation will contribute to ensuring power quality, improving the reliability of power supply for industrial clusters/zones and loads in Hung Ha district; reducing power supply radius, reducing voltage loss of the medium voltage grid in the area; creating medium voltage loops with neighboring 110kV substations; improving flexibility in power supply, convenience in operation management and is the basis for renovating, developing, and re-planning the existing regional power grid system.
