The Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) held a Conference to summarize the implementation of the 2020 plan and 5-year plan of 2016-2020, targets, plans for year 2021 and orientations for 2021-2025 period, on 14 January, in Hanoi.

Last year, EVNNPC gained the highest commercial power growth among distribution corporations, with 74.86 billion kWh, an increase of 6.76% compared to 2019’s. In particular, the share of power output for industry accounts for 66%, making an important contribution to the country's GDP growth. Electricity loss of EVNNPC in 2020 will reach 4.83%, decreasing by 0.15% compared to the target assigned by EVN and surpassing the target in the 5-year plan (4.85%).

In particular, on construction investment, as accumulated to 31 December 2020, the Corporation has commenced 82/65 projects, reaching 126% of the year plan and energized 84/81 projects, reaching 103.7% of the year plan. The customer service business continued to have many positive changes; all 14 customer service targets in the period of 2016 - 2020 are realized in comparison with the regulations. In the 2016 - 2020 period, EVNNPC has also made efforts to invest in bringing electricity to rural, mountainous and island areas under the National Target Program for Power Supply to Rural, Mountainous and Island areas.

A target of EVNNPC for 2021:
- Commercial power: 80 billion kWh;
- The rate of electricity service provision through the National Public Service Portal: reaching 40%;
- The rate of electricity service provision by electronic form: reaching 85% or more;
- Power loss: 4.55%;
- Labour productivity by commercial product: 3.46 million kWh / labour;
- Labour productivity by customers: 464 customers / employee;
- Construction investment value: VND 17,379 billion.
- Regarding digital transformation: In 2021, building a digital transformation plan based on programs:
+ Digitalizing all grid assets through the grid management system on GIS
+ Digitalizing all internal processes according to work segments
+ Grid automation projects.
