EVNNPT signed with the 5 banks including the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank), Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB), Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB) and Vietnam International Commercial Joint Stock Bank (VIB).
Attending the signing ceremony, on the part of Vietnam Electricity (EVN), there were a Member of the Board of Directors of EVN Nguyen Duc Cuong, a Member of the Board of Directors of EVN Vo Hong Linh, Vice President of EVN Pham Hong Phuong, and leaders of specialized departments of EVN.
EVNNPT signing credit contract with BIDV for Quang Trach - Quynh Luu 500kV transmission line project with witness of EVN, EVNNPT, and BIDV leaders
The Quang Trach - Pho Noi circuit-3 500kV transmission line projects consist of a total investment of about VND 22,000 billion.
In recent times, EVNNPT has received cooperation and support from banks. The capital arrangement for the Quang Trach - Pho Noi circuit-3 500kV transmission line projects has now basically been completed.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Member Board of EVNNPT Nguyen Tuan Tung said: The Quang Trach - Pho Noi 500kV transmission line project is about 519 km long, has a particularly important meaning in connecting the inter-regional power grid, contributing to ensuring electricity supply for the North. Given the importance and urgency of the project, the Prime Minister directed EVN and EVNNPT to strive to complete the project in June 2024.
This is also the first time that a loan of VND 15,644 billion has been approved by banks much faster than usual loans but still meets current regulations and internal regulations of the bank as well as EVNNPT.
BIDV Bank leaders affirmed that they will coordinate best with EVNNPT to disburse capital for the circuit-3 500kV transmission line project; at the same time, they are ready to work with EVNNPT to arrange capital for other projects within our capabilities, to contribute with EVN and EVNNPT to ensuring national energy security.
