In particular, EVNSPC has joined the grassroots Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Ho Chi Minh City in installing oxygen and vacuum systems for 504 beds at Ho Chi Minh City COVID-19 Resuscitation Hospital; oxygen and compressed air systems at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ho Chi Minh City.
For member units, support for the prevention of COVID-19 has also been carried out with specific actions. In Dong Nai province, Dong Nai Power-One Member Co., Ltd., has deducted from the Social Security Fund and contributions from employees' salaries to support VND 1 billion for the COVID-19 prevention and control fund in Dong Nai province.
In Binh Duong province, Binh Duong Power Company has supported the province's COVID-19 prevention and control fund with VND 100 million; 02 ventilators (worth VND 200 million) to the Department of Health of Binh Duong province; at the same time, mobilized employees to send messages to the 1408 switchboard to contribute to the Government's COVID-19 vaccine and prevention fund, with an amount of nearly VND102 million (corresponding to 1,240 messages).
In Long An province, Long An Power Company has donated funds and medical equipment to support the same locality in the prevention of COVID-19, with a total amount of more than VND 470 million (including VND320 million in cash) with 2 ventilators, worth VND100 million each).
In Binh Thuan province, Binh Thuan Power Company has cooperated with local authorities to carry out the "Transportation passes of gratitude", giving gifts of gratitude to support La Gi town where people who are implementing the social distancing with essential necessities at a total value of more than VND 32 million; support VND 50 million and necessities for the isolation area at the dormitory of the School of Politics in Binh Thuan province.
In addition, in the provinces of Ca Mau, Kien Giang, Bac Lieu, Ben Tre, etc., power units have also donated and supported many generators, lighting equipment and gifts to support the checkpoints of COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control at the Vietnam-Cambodia border area and in the area of social distancing and blockade, with a total amount of more than VND 780 million.
In particular, following the direction of the Government, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and Vietnam Electricity, EVNSPC has been implementing the 3rd and 4th electricity price and electricity price reductions for electricity users affected by the COVID-19 pandemic with an estimated total amount of over VND1,170 billion
