Improving power supply stability
In September 2024, EVNSPC energized the second T1-40MVA transformer installation project at the An Phu 110kV substation, An Phu District, An Giang Province.
Previously, the Phong Dien 110kV substation project and its connection lines were built in Phong Dien Town, Phong Dien District, Can Tho City with a scale of 02 x 40MVA transformers, the first phase installed 01 40MVA transformer and 85m of connection line with a total investment of VND 82.746 billion, using commercial credit loans and counterpart funds from EVNSPC's capital. The project was completed and put into operation in early August 2024.
By the end of August, the Dinh Binh 110kV substation and the Dinh Binh 110kV branch in Cay Tram Hamlet, Dinh Binh Commune, Ca Mau City were energized and put into operation. The project went into operation and connected the 22kV grid with the existing Ca Mau 110kV substation, supporting capacity and improving reliability in power supply for Ca Mau City and neighboring areas; improving voltage quality and reducing power loss on the regional grid.

In addition, a number of other key projects were also energized and put into operation by EVNSPC and its units in the first 9 months of 2024, such as the Khanh Van 110kV substation and connecting lines in Khanh Van Quarter, Khanh Binh Ward, Tan Uyen City, Binh Duong Province; Ascendas 110kV substation and An Tay - Ascendas 110kV power line at Binh Duong Riverside International Industrial Park, Ben Cat Town, Binh Duong Province; My Phuoc 4 110kV substation at My Phuoc 4 Industrial Park, Ben Cat City, Binh Duong Province; and so on.

Many power projects are highly appreciated by the industry and localities for their importance. The Thanh Tan 110kV substation and the connecting line in Cho Xep Hamlet, Mo Cay Bac District is a key project in 2024 of Ben Tre Province. In addition, the Tan Quoi 110kV substation in Binh Tan District, Vinh Long Province was chosen as one of two projects with a signboard to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the 70th anniversary of the Vietnam Power Sector's Traditional Day.
By September 2024, there are 4 investment projects to develop the 110kV power grid in Binh Phuoc Province invested by EVNSPC, including the 110kV transmission line phase-resolved project from location 177 of Binh Long 2 to location 175 of My Phuoc, with a total investment of VND 74.22 billion; the 110kV feeder project from the Chon Thanh 220kV substation (4 circuits) with a total investment of VND 115 billion; The Hoa Lu 110kV substation project with a total investment of VND 62.55 billion and the Tan Hung 110kV substation project and its 110kV branch line connection, with a total investment of VND 157.8 billion.
