The 220kV line of Dau Tieng - Tay Ninh Solar Power Plant has been successfully energized.
The 18.753km project with 53 locations pasing through Binh Phuoc and Tay Ninh provinces is the first phase of the Binh Long - Tay Ninh 220kV power line project.
The project is invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT); CPMB shall on behalf of EVNNPT operate and manage the project; Power Transmission Company No.4 undertakes the operation management after the plant has been completed.
The completed plant is ready to transmit the capacity from Dau Tieng Solar Power Plant to the national power system when the plant has been put into official operation.
It is known that this is a component project of the Binh Long - Tay Ninh 220kV power line project.
After its completion, the Binh Long - Tay Ninh 220kV power line will contribute to prevent overloading for the Binh Long - Ben Cat - My Phuoc 220kV power line and the existing Cu Chi - Trang Bang 220kV power line; improve power supply reliability and ensure the flexibility in operating the 220kV regional grid in normal mode and N-1 fault mode.
