Workers of Dien Bien Power Company upgrade transformer capacity to improve reliability of power supply and reduce power loss.
To gain such results, the units under EVNNPC have regularly calculated, forecasted load, forecasted power losses in each area to work out appropriate solutions; improved medium-voltage loop circuits to effectively exploit the load carrying capacity of regional transformers, in order to improve power supply reliability.
At the same time, EVNNPC has strengthened the exploitation of softwares to calculate power losses for 110kV grids and medium and low voltage grids for each power company; focused on calibrating the metering system and strengthening the supervision against power theft; put prioritized investment on high load areas with high growth rates.
In the first quarter of 2019, EVNNPC's commercial power output was estimated at 14.9 billion kWh, increasing by 8.07% over the same period of 2018; in which, components of construction industry accounted for 64.94%, increasing by 7.82% over the same period.
The whole Corporation has attracted with 82 customers installing rooftop solar power with a total installed capacity of 1,642kWp.
