On January 26, in Hanoi, EVN Vice President Vo Quang Lam met, thanked, and said goodbye to German expert Bernd Hegenbuch. Recently, there have been 3 working groups of EVN actively working with the expert thereby bringing benefits to both sides. In particular, EVN's customer service field has made great strides compared to that of many countries in the region. EVN has a lot of information to share in this work.

This is the first time EVN has implemented expert placement with Germany. EVN leaders also suggested some contents that the parties can continue to discuss in the coming time such as green energy development, electricity saving, load adjustment, and so on.

The GEPP project aims to accelerate the energy transition and improve climate resilience in Europe and Germany through peer-to-peer and knowledge transfer between utilities. The GEPP project aims to support GIZ ESP's Vietnamese partners to access and learn professional knowledge from German utility service companies through the model of bringing German companies’ employees to work directly with their counterparts at Vietnamese partner offices for up to 3 months. The working content of German experts was predetermined and agreed upon by the participating parties.
