The construction scale of Nhon Trach 4 - Phu My branch - Nha Be 500kV power line project consists of a new 500kV power line (double-circuit), the starting point is the gate pole of the 500kV distribution yard of Nhon Trach 4 Power Plant, the endpoint is connected to the conductor at 74-75 spans of the existing Phu My - Nha Be 500kV power line. This is the only line to release capacity, connecting the Nhon Trach 4 Power Plant (capacity of over 800MW) to the national power system.

The Nhon Trach 4 - Phu My branch - Nha Be 500kV power line project is invested by EVNNPT, managed and operated by SPMB, and operated by Power Transmission Company 4.

The completion of the project will contribute to ensuring power supply for loads in the southern provinces starting in 2025.

Nhon Trach 3 and 4 Power Plants are the first thermal power projects using liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Vietnam.
