Tan Thuan Wind Power Plant project is being determined by PECC 2 to be completed on schedule in 2021.
In which, the revenue from the consulting area reached 24% of the year plan, the rest came from business and investment areas. The consolidated profit of the whole company reached more than VND100.05 billion, increasing by more than 5% over the same period last year. .
According to Mr. Nguyen Chon Hung - Chairman of the Board of Directors of PECC 2, PECC 2 has always maintained the progress of key projects on the schedule such as operation and trial run of Tan Thuan Wind Power Plant project on schedule; completion of commercial operation (COD) for unit 1 of Duyen Hai 2 Thermal Power Plant Project and the official commencement of unit 2 as scheduled. The projects of Thac Ba 2 Hydropower Plant and Hau Giang Biomass Power Plant (20MW) are being drastically implemented to meet the targeted schedule.
In addition, 18 ground-mounted solar farms and 30 rooftop solar power systems with a total capacity of 1,600MWp have been effectively operated by PECC 2; at the same time, the company has expanded its activities to new areas such as operating wind power plants, organizing quick response teams for rooftop solar power system operations,etc.
In particular, performing the task of digital transformation, PECC 2 has established a Digital Competence Center on 9 April 2021.
In addition, the company has also made efforts to implement other activities well in the first 6 months of the year such as: completing the study of corporate strategy and restructuring for the period of 2021 - 2025 and submitting it to EVN; piloting the Scan-To-BIM project - the first digital project of PECC 2 in the energy industry, etc.
From now until the end of the year, PECC 2 will ensure COD completion of Tan Thuan Wind Power Plant project in September 2021 (phase 1) and complete the whole project in October 2021; starting the construction of Thac Ba 2 Hydropower Plant project (18.9MW) in the fourth quarter of 2021; at the same time, starting the construction of biomass power projects approved by EVN according to the plan; completing the corporate restructuring objectives; actively looking for opportunities to participate in other power and grid projects, etc.
