Lam Dong: National Power Grid "covers" the last 7 Villages

On 1st February 2018, in Lam Ha District, Lam Dong Power Company inaugurated the project of power supply for the last 7 off-grid villages in the province, bringing the National electricity to more than 650 households.

The project has a total investment of over VND 28.6 billion invested by Lam Dong Power Company with the construction scale of over 40 km of medium voltage line; 30 km of low voltage line and 20 distribution substations.

After 3 months of prompt construction, the project was completed and supplied power to 650 households in 7 villages including: Vinh Ninh Village, Village 3 and Village 4 (Phuoc Cat 2 Commune, Cat Tien District); R 'Hang Tru Village, Phuc Cat Village (Phuc Tho commune); Phuc Thach Village (Lien Ha commune, Lam Ha district); Nao Quang Village (Loc Phu commune, Bao Lam district).

Mr. Nguyen Van Yen - Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee affirmed that: the project of power supply for the last 7 off-grid villages in the province not only contributes to promoting the socio-economic development of the locality, particularly, in remote areas, ethnic minority areas, but also contributes to increasing the percentage of households using electricity in the area.
