With its responsibility to the society and the community, EVN has organized the EVN Red Week program for 5 times with great successes. All employees of Vietnam Electricity have contributed over 40,000 blood units to the "blood bank" nationwide.

Responding to the call of the National Institute of Hematology - Blood Transfusion, Vietnam Electricity and Vietnam Electricity Trade Union called for all officers, employees and employees of Vietnam Electricity with the same heart and loving-kindness to help patients have a chance to live or prolong their lives with the precious drops of blood and their sincerity.

After nearly a week of calling-on, EVN units across the country responded strongly and sent back to the Group for registration with practical numbers by participants registered to donate blood at 2,132 people for 2020; In 2019, the figure was 1,834. Thus, it can be seen that the loving-kindness has spread and the compassion has expanded across the whole electricity industry.

In the framework of the 6th Red Week Program, on 26 November 2020, EVN in collaboration with NIHBT organized directly presenting gifts and a creative drawing session on recycled plastic bottles for children being treated at the Department of Congenital Hemolysis - Thalassemia. Every year, EVN desires to bring children with many interesting and fun experiences. In 2019, children can experience visiting the Exhibition House of Vietnam Electricity industry; try to act a little electrician; manufacturing flashlights, electric fans, etc. In 2020, in the context of the Covid 19 pandemic, all activities will be affected, but EVN still wishes to light up the smile on the child's lips and realize it like a promise. The organizing board wishes to convey the gentle message to all paediatric patients and patients that “anyone or any object can bring their own good values, contributions to make lives more beautiful and colourful.

All the hearts of the Electricians with the same consensus always desire to spread the loving messages, share care and wish that every patient will be healthy, return to a normal life and continue to strongly spread emotions they receive then together build a more civilized, beautiful and compassionate society.
