EVN officially applied the new form of electronic invoice (e-invoice) and pro forma electric bill from 1 March 2020.

Specifically, in the new form of e-invoice and pro forma electric bill there are no changes in the calculation method or customer data, but changes are focused on the layout. Information on the e-invoice is adjusted and added to help customers understand, check and monitor easily their power consumption and the amount they have to pay.
Some characteristics of the new form of electronic invoice and pro forma electric bill:
- Inheritance to provide familiarity and adequate information in accordance with the regulations on bills of the Ministry of Finance.
- Simplicity, clarity and addition of all communication channels necessary to contact the electric service provider.
- Transparency in displaying information and addition of charts of energy consumption in the previous year and the current year by the customer.
- Further improvement of awareness of economical and efficient use of energy, through comparison with the average use of customers in the same area and the same type of energy consumption.
- Application of QR code applied to electronic contracts in conformity with the standards of the State Bank of Vietnam, which improves convenience and promotes cashless payment.
