Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited EVN's exhibition booth at Viet Nam Economic Forum 2019

When visiting EVN's exhibition booth on January 17, 2019, the Prime Minister acknowledged EVN’s achievements in 2018 and hoped that EVN would exert further efforts to deserve the trust of the Government and the people.

Visiting EVN's booth, there were Mr. Pham Minh Chinh, a member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Communist Party’s Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Binh, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Communist Party’s Central Committee, Head of the Central Economic Committee - and many leaders of central and local ministries and agencies.

At EVN's exhibition booth, Mr. Trinh Mai Phuong - Director of the Public Relation Department of EVN presented the size of Viet Nam power system today to the Prime Minister and delegates.

In particular, the national power system has risen to the 2nd place in Southeast Asia region and the 23rd in the world. The Getting Electricity Indicator of Viet Nam moved upwards 37 levels, reached the 27th place in 190 countries and economies in the world and named in the top 4 ASEAN two years ahead of the schedule requested by the Government.

Currently, Viet Nam Electricity has connected the national power grid to 100% of communes and over 99% of rural households, supplying electricity to 11 out of 12 island districts of the country.

Since December 2018, EVN has officially launched online electricity services equivalent to level 4 public services - the highest level, providing 100% of online services as required by customers and becoming the first infrastructure enterprise of Viet Nam achieving level 4 in customer service provision. These are typical examples in response to the Prime Minister's appeal on deploying the industrial revolution 4.0 in reality.

Viet Nam Economic Forum 2019 opened on January 17, 2019 in Hanoi. With a series of 3 important seminars and one high - level policy dialogue session, the Forum discussed major issues of the national economy, identified trends, opportunities and challenges, thereby suggested orientations for the coming time.
