The signing ceremony was also attended and witnessed by Mr. Nguyen Tai Anh – Deputy General Director of Vietnam Electricity (EVN) and Mr. Fabrice Richy - Director of French Development Agency (ADF) in Vietnam.

The Se San 4 Solar Power Plant project is located in Ia Toi commune, Ia H’’Drai district, Kon Tum province with an installed capacity of 49MWp. The plant is expected to generate power in September 2020 and totally completed in October 2020.
After completed, the project will supply power of averagely 72.4 million kWh/year to the national electricity system, contributing to develop the clean energy of the country.
The project’s capital is financed by EVN at 20% and by the loan of ADF at 80% (EUR 24.2 million), sufficiently 100% of the required capital is to be disbursed for this EPC package.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh (General Director of Power Project Management Board No.2), the EPC package is the main one of the project, including constructing and installing, supplying plant materials, expanding 220kv distribution yard and maintaining the plant within 1 year from the date of its issuing the completion certificate. The contractor is responsible for training and transferring technology to the Project Owner during the operation and maintenance.
Mr. Fabrice Richy - General Director of AFD in Vietnam said that AFD felt honored to be granted a credit of ERO 24.2 million in the form of non-government guarantee for Se San 4 Solar Power project. The credit aims to realize AFD’s commitment to help Vietnam convert energy towards low-carbon energy. The AFD considers the project to be a pioneering one in the good and long-term partner between EVN and AFD.
