Mr. Nguyen Van Thang - Deputy Director of Son La Power Company said that Son La Power Company (Son La PC) still regularly focuses on inspection, maintenance, and investment in upgrading the power grid system for power supply to the Huaphan province.
The delegation of Hua Phan Power Company and Xieng Khouang Power Company (Laos) visited and worked at Son La PC, in September 2017.
At the same time, Son La Power Company and Hua Phan Power Company (Laos) also regularly exchange and coordinate to check the metering system, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and minimizing power supply interruption.
Every year, Son La Power Company and Hua Phan Power Company coordinate to send staff to join the delegations to exchange technical and management issues between the two units. Son La PC also directly participates in training on operation management, and electricity sale business, and sponsors Vietnamese language training for 10 officials and workers of Hua Phan Power Company.

Over the past 26 years, along with the policies of the Party and the State to support economic and social development in remote and border areas, the Son La Power sector has made efforts to overcome difficulties in bringing the national power grid to light up the villages in the border areas, contributing to socio-economic development, and enhancing the friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
