In the joint Statement, leaders of the two countries suggested enterprises of the two sides seek for new business investment opportunities in the fields of priority cooperation such as: Gas, power, energy, renewable energy and energy saving, infrastructure, textiles, leathers and footwear, medicine, machinery, agriculture and agricultural products, tourism, chemistry, information technology and other industries and services.
Particularly, in the energy field, the two sides agreed to cooperate in hydropower, thermal power, renewable energy and energy saving.
President Tran Dai Quang welcomes Indian enterprises to invest in the projects of renewable energy and energy saving in Vietnam.
Vietnam recognizes the India’s request on actively considering the signing of the Framework Agreement on Solar Energy Alliance to promote cooperation in the field of renewable energy.
