Thac Mo Solar Power Plant Project with capacity of 50MWp, was built in Duc Hanh commune, Bu Gia Map district and Thac Mo ward, Phuoc Long town, Binh Phuoc province. Land use area is about 57 hectares. This is the first large-scale renewable energy project that Thac Mo Hydropower Joint Stock Company has built, and is also one of the first solar power plant projects granted investment policy license by Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee.
The project uses a single crystal silicon photovoltaic battery system with conversion efficiency of over 19%, and 16 inverters with conversion efficiency of over 98%. After being put into operation, each year, the plant supplements 78 million kWh to the national power system.
The project helps to expand production and business of Thac Mo Hydropower Joint Stock Company, increase the capacity of the power source, increase labour productivity, maximize the use of current human resources, and invest in effective projects, bringing benefits for companies and shareholders.
The completion and generation of the project is an important milestone for the project to complete itscommercial operation before 14 December 2020 as planned.
