The first 2 candidates to participate in the program of recruiting leaders and managers at EVN

On 16 June 2020, in Hanoi, the first two candidates registered to participate in the program of detecting and recruiting leaders and managers at EVN presented their personal action program to the Selection Committee.

Previously, the Group issued Document No. 1447/EVN-TC & NS dated 12 March 2020 on a pilot program of detecting and recruiting leaders and managers at EVN. 

The first two candidates to register were Mr. Dang Bang Viet - Expert of General Department, EVN Office and Mr. Bui Van Minh - Expert of EVN Department of Science, Technology and Environment, applying for the position of Deputy Head of EVN Department of Science, Technology and Environment.

At the presentation session of action program, two candidates performed presentations independently (not having attended any presentation of other candidates) to the Committee on the status of management and administration of scientific, technological and environmental research in the fields of production and business of EVN and propose specific solutions to improve the quality of this work.

In addition, candidates answered questions of the Selection Committee around the management and administration of scientific, technological and environmental research; leadership skills; communication skills and understanding of the fields of production - business activities of EVN.

According to EVN General Director Tran Dinh Nhan - Chairman of the Selection Committee, through the program, EVN will detect, attract and recruit good officials with professional qualifications, good qualities, and good capacity of giving advice, solving difficult and complicated problems arising in reality, creating a source of staffs to consider, plan, train and appoint them to leading and managerial positions at EVN. 

EVN has also provided motivation for employees to strive, study, cultivate and participate in leadership and management works at EVN; create opportunities for employees and staffs to express themselves.

The titles in the pilot program include the titles of Deputy Head of Department and equivalent ones at EVN Office.

Subjects participating in the program to discover and select leaders and managers in EVN:

For units directly under EVN: Employees have positions from Deputy Head of Department or equivalent or more.

- For EVN Agencies: All employees of EVN Agency.

Standards, conditions of participation:

- Graduating from a university with a formal or higher degree in a field suitable to the tasks, fields and lines of production and business of EVN;

- IELTS international English certificate from 5.0 or above or equivalent (Employees who have graduated from foreign universities/masters/long-term doctorates (fulltime) in English are exempted from English certificate)

- Age not older than 45 years. 

- Not being disciplined from reprimand or more within the past 05 years. 

- Priority for employees with topics, initiatives and solutions approved and approved by the competent professional scientific/technical council.
