In the power business, EVNEPTC has managed and deployed a large number of power purchase agreements (PPAs) with a capacity of over 30MW, including a lot of renewable energy PPAs. EVNEPTC has actively cooperated with related units, contributing to nearly 100 solar power plants come into operation on schedule before 30 June 2019.

According to EVNEPTC's report, in 2019, the company has checked the files to ensure their accuracy and paid for 214 PPAs monthly, an increase of 74% of the PPAs compared to 2018. The total energy purchased in 2019 reached over 171TWh, an increase of 18.9% compared to 2018.

Regarding power market business, the EVN's leader instructed EVNEPTC to continue researching, offering advices and suggestions to EVN and the Ministry of Industry and Trade solutions to problems in the operation of the competitive wholesale power market and proposing actively advisory ideas to various design schemes of Vietnam's retail power market.
