Particularly, EVNHCMC overfulfilled its efficiency targets, in which some targets had been met 1-2 years ahead of the 5-year plan (2016-2020), including power losses; reliability indicators in power supply; customer service; labor productivity, etc.
Customer satisfaction score for EVNHCMC has increased steadily over the years; particularly, in 2019, EVNHCMC achieved a score of 8.66/10 points, becoming the unit with the highest score in EVN.
In 2019, EVNHCMC made a great contribution to helping Vietnam's access-to-electricity index maintain its rank of 27/190 countries and economies, and the 4th among ASEAN countries.
The works of restructuring, organization, labor arrangement, training have become increasingly rational, gradually separating power distribution from power retailing activities, separating power grid operation and management from services, etc.

Further actively enhancing innovation and creativity
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh pointed out that in 2020, EVN in general and EVNHCMC in particular need to be further proactive and creative in its activities; uniting together, acting unanimously, mobilizing all resources to supply sufficient power for socio-economic development, preventing any power shortage in any circumstances.

The leader of the Commission for Management of State Capital at Enterprises required EVNHCMC to carefully work out scenarios and solutions to make prompt response to drought, hot weather and high power demand; enhancing propaganda on economical and efficient use of power, demand-side management (DSM) programs; promoting the development of rooftop PV solar power, etc.

The theme of the year 2020 chosen by EVNHCMC is "Promoting the application of science and technology to improve corporate administration competence".
Followings are some outstanding results of EVNHCMC in 2019:
- Commercial energy output: 26.1 billion kWh, an increase of 6.8% compared to that of the same period in 2018, equal to 100.97% of the planned value assigned by EVN.
- Power losses: 3.45%;
- Reliability of power supply: SAIFI 59 minutes, SAIDI 0.8 times, MAIFI 0.4 times;
- 100% of 110kV substations operating effectively under the model of remote/unmanned control;
- All (100%) of 22kV medium voltage grids were supervised and controlled remotely through Mini SCADA (level-1 automation); 30% of 22kV public lines had DAS/DMS function (level-2 automation);
- Rate of remote operation on 110kV and 22kV power grids: higher than 99%;
- Labor productivity: 4.54 million kWh/employee and 442 customers/employee, reaching the “finish line” one year ahead of the target;
- 98% of customers made the non-cash payment;
- 99.94% of customer requests were resolved online;
- Customer satisfaction score: 8.66/10 points, 0.33 points higher than that in 2018 and 0.16 points higher than the target assigned by EVN.
Some key targets of EVNHCMC in 2020:
- Commercial energy output: 27.770 billion kWh, an increase of 6.4% compared to that in 2019;
- Power losses: ≤ 3.45%;
- Energy-saving: ≥ 2% of the commercial energy output;
- Power supply reliability: SAIDI < 87 minutes (striving for < 50 minutes); SAIFI < 0.96 times (striving for 0.8 times);
- Non-cash payment for electricity bills: ≥98% of customers and ≥ 98% of bill amount;
- Meeting 100% of level-4 online services for 19/19 types of power services;
- 100% of customer records are digitized;
- Customer satisfaction score: higher than 8.5 points;
- Labor productivity: 4.9 million kWh/employee (based on commercial output) and 480 customers/employee (based on the number of customers);
- No accident at work.
