One section of Vinh Tan - Song May branch - Tan Uyen 500kV transmission line
The Vinh Tan - Song May branch - Tan Uyen 500kV transmission line (circuit 3 Vinh Tan - Song May) is 243km long. This is a two-circuit line running along Binh Thuan and Dong Nai provinces, connecting from the 500kV distribution yard of 500kV Vinh Tan substation to the branch pole of 500kV Song May - Tan Uyen transmission line.
This Work is invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), managed by SPMB on behalf of EVNNPT in operation. The Power Transmission Company No. 3 and Power Transmission Company No. 4 undertake and manage operation when the project is completed.
Energizing and putting into operation The Vinh Tan - Song May branch - Tan Uyen 500kV transmission line will contribute to relieve the power capacity for Vinh Tan Power Center in Binh Thuan province into the national power system and meet the load growth demand of the Southern region. At the same time, this work creates links to the other future large power sources of the South Central region with the national power system; improves the system stability and reliability.
