An electronic board displaying environmental parameters is located on the entrance area of the Company (large blue screen on the right of the picture)
Vinh Tan Power Center has installed a large electronic screen in front of the company gate, displaying publicly and transparently data from the automatic monitoring systems of all production areas at Vinh Tan 2 Thermal Power Plant, under the direction of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee.
Accordingly, people can monitor all the results of monitoring of emission gas quality (monitoring flow parameters, SOx, NOx, internal dust, CO, pressure), waste water quality (monitoring flow parameters, temperature, pH, DO, Cl, TSS, COD, NH3).
Vinh Tan 2 Thermal Power Plant, which is managed by the Company, is fully equipped with a treatment system, automatic monitoring of environmental parameters and environmental treatment response processes.
The monitored images from the camera and environmental monitoring parameters have been transmitted directly to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Binh Thuan province from 2017. At the same time, they were monitored by software on computers, smart phones to help local authorities, related departments, branches together with related units to perform 24/24 continuous monitoring.
People can easily supervise results of environmental monitoring at Vinh Tan 2 Thermal Power Plant
Publication of automatic monitoring data on environmental quality on the large electronic screen helps people feel secure; help management units to promptly grasp information and handle it in case of environmental incidents, if any. This is a new information channel to help people supervise the environmental work with authorities during the plant's operation.
Vinh Tan Thermal Power Company has also regularly invited government delegations and local people to come and visit inside the plant, slag dumping sites, cooling water channels, coal ports, etc.
Up to now, the company has received more than 118 delegations with more than 3,300 people coming to visit and supervize the environment.
