Accordingly, the consolidated document integrates: the Law on Economic and Efficient Use of Energy No. 50/2010/QH12 dated June 17, 2010 of the National Assembly, effective from January 1, 2011; Law No. 28/2018/QH14 dated June 15, 2018 amending and supplementing a number of articles of 11 laws related to planning, effective from January 1, 2019; Law No. 77/2025/QH15 dated June 18, 2025 amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Economic and Efficient Use of Energy, effective from January 1, 2026; and the Law on Planning No. 112/2025/QH15 dated December 10, 2025, effective from March 1, 2026.

The Law on Economic and Efficient Use of Energy provides for the economic and efficient use of energy; policies and measures to promote such use; and the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of organizations, households, and individuals in the economic and efficient use of energy.

Subjects of application: Organizations, households, and individuals using energy in Vietnam.
