Excellently completing production and business tasks

Over the past 5 years, despite facing many difficulties, EVNCPC has still strived to maintain its development momentum, effective production and business, ensuring a safe, stable, and continuous power supply for the Central Highlands region.

EVNCPC's commercial power output grew by an average of 8.01% per year, higher than the average of the whole EVN. Indicators such as: Power loss from 4.65% (in 2020) decreased to 3.65% by the end of 2024, soon reaching the target of the whole period; SAIDI index (average customer power outage time) decreased sharply from more than 300 minutes to 193 minutes in 2024. The achieved indicators of EVNCPC clearly reflect the progress in investment, construction, technical management, and operation of the power grid.

EVNCPC has implemented 2,526 projects, of which 77 110kV grid projects have been completed, contributing to improving power supply capacity and meeting the demand for load growth in the whole locality. The total investment capital for this period is approximately VND30,000 billion.

Along with expanding the power grid, EVNCPC promotes the application of advanced technology in automation and digital transformation. The SCADA/DMS system has been completed and strongly developed, helping to monitor and control the power grid in real time. By the end of 2024, all 147 110kV substations will be operating in unmanned mode, improving power supply reliability and saving operating costs.

In the field of business and customer service, EVNCPC has always maintained a high level of service quality. 97.62% of customers use online electricity services, of which over 90% of transactions are performed online, not directly via transaction points. Customer satisfaction is increasingly improved, contributing to enhancing the image of EVNCPC and Vietnam Electricity  (EVN).

In particular, EVNCPC is considered a typical unit in the whole EVN in terms of renovation movement. In the period of 2020 - 2024, the whole Corporation has over 1,300 grassroots initiatives, 18 EVN-level initiatives and 23 grassroots-level research topics, and 2 accepted Group-level topics. Some initiatives have brought outstanding efficiency and have been recognized as "Make by EVN" products, such as smart electronic meters, power grid failure warning devices, fast charging stations for electric cars, and so on.

Besides, EVNCPC has always ensured financial balance, increased labour productivity at an average rate of 8.89%/year and fully fulfilled its obligations to the state budget.

In the period of 2020 - 2024, EVNCPC launched a series of emulation movements associated with key tasks such as: "Emulation to complete production and business tasks"; "Ensuring labour safety"; "Reducing power loss"; "Improving power supply reliability"; "Emulation to complete financial targets"; "Emulation to build corporate culture"; "Comprehensive digital transformation"... These movements are all flexibly organized, with specific criteria, transparent scoring mechanisms, closely linked to quarterly and annual work performance evaluation.

Continue innovation in the period 2025 – 2029

Entering the 2025 - 2029 period, the Corporation will face many new requirements and challenges when moving to the stage of accelerating comprehensive digital transformation, deploying smart grids, and comprehensively modernizing management work.

The emulation movements in the coming time will continue to closely follow major goals such as: improving reliability in power supply; developing digital infrastructure and Big Data; promoting initiatives in the spirit of "Make by EVNCPC"; completing and exceeding targets on labour productivity, finance, construction investment; strongly developing digital customer services; improving customer satisfaction index; building a high-quality workforce to meet the requirements of the new era.

At this conference, EVNCPC commended 13 collectives that completed their tasks comprehensively; 16 excellent work areas; 14 Power Companies, Power Service Enterprises leading the emulation movement in the unit; 22 individuals with achievements in leading the unit to excellently complete its tasks; 23 typical advanced individuals over 5 years (2020 - 2024) selected from 22 member units.
